I’ve been a resident in the Essendon, Strathmore and Pascoe Vale South suburbs all my life, and have a thorough knowledge of the schools, services, facilities, and transport available to buyers in those and nearby Northern suburbs.
My real estate career consists of nearly 20 years with my own real estate business, which at one stage comprised four offices. In June 1988 I left to go "over the fence" to become a developer, having been heavily involved in putting together projects for builders and developers for both residential and commercial sites over the previous 5 years. With a recession from mid-1989 through to 1993, I have experienced both the excellent times and the bad times as a seller, buyer and a developer. This experience is there to support you whatever the state of the market and whatever your current role.
I have retained my full Real Estate License and Auctioneers License and returned to Real Estate in February 1996 to take up a position as Senior Property Manager. This was after vowing never to work for someone again or in the Real Estate profession again! I guess that it is "in the blood" - we just can't help ourselves! Come to think of it, real estate impacts on all our lives particularly with setting ourselves up for our retirement years and also has been shown to a major con-tributor to creating financial stability and wealth.
I particularly enjoy planning the advertising and marketing program for sellers of residential properties and investments and for builders of units, and being involved in bringing the sales to fruition. Often the strategy of the advertising campaign and the actual wording of the advertisement is changed during the sale period to highlight other aspects that our office have thought important to buyers.
Outside of work I enjoy cricket, baseball and swimming, and my daily exercise is a 6am brisk half hour walk to start the day right - although this gets trying in the colder winter months!
